Alfredo and I had Mya's first parent-teacher conference. Even if she is only in Pre-K it was pretty exciting to see how she was progressing. One neat thing they do is each month they have the kids draw a picture and somewhere in that picture they draw themselves. Each month you see how they continue to add body parts instead of just a head and legs. This helps track some-sort of brain development. It's amazing to see it actually work that way! At the end of school we get all of them and we can see how much she has accomplished. She also writes her name on it which is a lot of fun. She has been showing me at home a lot how she can write her name.
She is doing really well and right on track with everything. Her teacher said she "mothers" all of the kids, loves drawing and gets along with everyone. She shares and listens well. But, they are working on how loud she is...LOL. Yes, her voice carries a mile and she is very loud. Good luck teacher!
So she got a good report from the teacher. So proud of my big girl and how good she is doing in everything. I enjoy watching her grow!
