Ahhhh... Vacation! This is our second time to visit the Royal in PDC and it didn't disappoint. It was a wonderful vacation chalked full of memories! A much needed getaway for all of us.
We drove to Iowa and dropped the kids off with Alfredo's mom/family. They were excited, but it was hard to leave my baby behind. The nice thing is we flew out of Cedar Rapids, so it was a quick drive to the airport, which also meant it would be on the way home too.
The kids are with Abuelita, and we are on our wayyyyyyyy.

So our room had two queen beds, but they said they could put them together to make one huge bed. They were right! They put some sort of mattress overlay or something so that there wasn't a gap in between them. I was in heaven! It was so comfortable and I could stretch out my arms and legs and never even touch Fredo. Seriously, I think the picture makes it look smaller that it was in reality. I was not even on the edge of the bed when I took this picture!

This little gal was sure happy to see us! Not that the big girls weren't but she has never been away from us, ever. Unfortunately I had to take her to Ashley's doctor because she started running a fever and had a bad ear infection :(. Poor baby! At least she waiting until I got home and wasn't miserable the entire time.
