Christmas all week (Part 1)

It's such a fun time of the year when Christmas comes around.  The girls get so excited but very impatient when it comes to opening gifts.  I'm really trying to tell them what Christmas is really about, but at this age they still just want the presents!

Christmas Eve
We went to church in Newkirk with all of my family and then we took a few photo's afterwards...

The first gifts the girls got to open.  FINALLY! :)

Christmas Morning
Santa decided the girls had been pretty good this year and he gave in to the "Minnie Mouse Kitchen" they have been talking about.  Mya is still on the look-out for a little girl that doesn't have a kitchen so she can give her old one to her.
Santa always leaves a letter for the kids before he leaves...

Did anyone ever have a furby when they were young?  I don't believe I did, but these things are high tech!  And if you are thinking about buying one, there is no OFF button.  Seriously.  And since we have two they talk to each other.  The only way to get them to shut-up be quiet is to set them in a corner, away from each other with no distraction. Then they will go to sleep.  The girls love them and despite not being able to turn them off they are pretty neat!  Mya named her's Jingle and Macy's is Jelly.  They have played with them every day since so I guess afterall it was a good gift!
