KC Pumpkin Patch

This past weekend we went to KC for our visit with Kaiden. I found this pumpkin patch about 15 minutes away from our hotel and of course being the season we had to go to it! We rarely get to do fun holiday type things with Kaiden because he is so far away so I thought this would be lots of fun. Kaiden is almost 9 now so I don't think he was as thrilled as our little 2 year old was! Anyhow it was good family fun. There were TONS of things to do and we didn't even get to all of them.

However it's definitely a money-maker. Here's a commercial for ya-
*Admission to the pumpkin patch: $10.00 pp (2 and under free)
*Additional cost such as feeding animals, trains and of course pumpkins:$ 5.00+
*A bottle of water: $3.00!
*A day out with our family all together: PRICELESS!

Their lips are blue from the suckers they had :-)

Note: "Kids for Sale"

Feeding the goats.

This was a really neat corn maze!

Riding the horse and roping that bull!

Tractor ride to the pumpkin patch

This is our GINORMOUS pumpkin! Its for Macy's 6 month pictures (thanks to Miss!). Don't mind the backside, it wont be seen.

Our cute kiddos!

Kaiden acted as a photographer for a while and snapped a few shots...of himself!

And I just think Mya looks absolutely GORGEOUS in this picture. So stinkin' cute!!

Our time spent is always too short and Mya always asks on our way home "Where's my Kaiden?" :-( It's hard to explain to a 2 year old where he is but somehow she just says okay and goes along with it.
The state surveyors came to our office today. You can guess the excitement we experienced! So this week will be a little tense and none of us will look forward to going to work. She went with me today to see a patient so I'm a little less stressed because my "evaluation" as a nurse is over, now the paperwork speaks! On the bright side....it will be over soon and no more anticipation!
