Compact Conference

Last night these girls made a "nest" and they just HAD to sleep in it.  What the heck...go for it.  It's out of routine, its a huge mess in the bedroom, but you are only kids once.  Sheesh.  It made them happy and I didn't have to fight anyone to go to sleep!

Mya had her "compact conference" tonight for Kindergarten.  She was so excited about it and Macy was too.  Poor Macy, its just hard to be the second child always having to wait for everything.  Although, she is pretty supportive and happy for her big sis.  The compact conference went well, Mya really likes her classroom and her teacher.  There are a lot of other kids that we know in her class too and that is reassuring.   Tomorrow will be her first day...A big Kindergartener

I'm excited for Mya and a little nervous.  She is very outgoing and will do just fine.  She makes friends very easily and isn't shy about anything.  She will be in school all. day. long.  Hard to believe.  She can't wait to eat lunch with her friends...it's a big deal!  Sigh...such an independent girl ready to grow up.
