Family Vacation Day 3 {Onboard the Carnival Triumph & Daddy's Birthday!}

 A cruise is something new for us.  Alfredo and I have only taken All-Inclusive vacations and never been disappointed.  However, when you have a family of 5, it's more affordable to take a cruise ship....as long as you don't plan on drinking much alcohol!  I was afraid everyone would get sea sick so I packed meds but luckily they were not needed.  I was also a little worried about our stateroom and how 5 of us were going to fit.  It was cozy, but actually quite comfortable!

The kids couldn't believe how big the ship was.  In fact, once we were on board Macy kept asking when we were getting on the boat because it really doesn't seem like your on a boat, it's that big.  Alfredo couldn't believe how big the "tail" was!

We got a bite to eat and jumped into the pool.  First things first when you have little water bugs.

 Bye, Bye Galveston!

 So the pools were saltwater. As you read earlier, the kids hated the salt water.  The hot tubs however were freshwater.  They weren't really that hot and the kids liked them better because they could go underwater.  They went back and forth a lot.
There were a lot of activities like basketball, shuffleboard, and mini golf that we were able to enjoy.  I was surprised at how much they did have for the kids.

 We got cleaned up and went to dinner.  It was daddy's birthday and Mya was telling everyone she came in contact with.  She couldn't wait for them to sing to him!  Little princess always gets what she wants...

 And a birthday hat to boot!  Happy Birthday honey!!!  We love you to the moon and back!
 We explored the ship a little more and enjoyed the sunset.  It really was beautiful out there.

 Shuffleboard!

 It's very pretty at night.  All lit up with different colors...the girls liked it!

So far, a memorable vacation without any major catastrophe's :)
