Mya is such a big girl in little pants! This morning we woke up early, thanks to daylight savings time, and decided to make breakfast for all of us. Alfredo was at work so he came home a little early and my mom came over too. We all had breakfast..pancakes, bacon and eggs (it was okay but i'm better at omlets!) Anyway, afterwards Mya entertained us for a while with her new trick. She has been pulling up since she began to crawl but now she lets go and stands there. She would crawl up Alfredo and let go with her arms in the air as we all clapped and made a big deal out of it. She is such a show-off and loves the attention and praise from everyone. She really liked grandma's reaction to it and would just laugh and give the biggest smile! She has been doing it all night now :-) We have to be careful though because she does fall backwards and could really bang her noggin! So far she has been smart enough not to do that if we are not playing with her. If she does it from her exersaucer then she just grabs back onto the toy and has not fallen back yet. It is bound to happen though...my poor baby must learn!
She is just getting so big and doing so many things now. She crawls all over the place and learning that she can get to whatever she wants now! She wasn't as mobile when she was under the weather but she is feeling a little better since the antibiotics have started to kick in. She hasn't ran a temp since yesterday and her drainage is much better! She is back in business :) Well off to get Mya ready for bed, so daddy and I can get some sleep too before he has to leave for work.
