Yesterday Mya had her 6 month shots :( She did pretty well, she cried less than the times before and she had Daddy to soothe her. Her appointment went good but she is so tiny! She weighs 13 lbs, although she was kicking so the scale never actually stopped on one number. She grew to 25 inches now so she is in the 25th percentile in length but only in the 10th percentile in weight. Dr. said if she doesn't follow the growth curve in weight or doesn't gain much by her 9 month well-baby check-up then we will go to a pediatrician in Wichita. Its nothing to worry about though. She has NO chance in being a large person considering her parents! She is just small-framed and the Dr. thinks she will do just fine. She is plump and is not lacking by any means. So all in all it went well. No more shots until she is 1... thank goodness.
Not much else is happening around here. This weekend I am on call and have a few patients to see so it will keep me busy and I would like to get some more of my house cleaned. Having a kiddo means everything is a two or three step process....no more get it all done at once! I think Alfredo is going to try to work a little OT also. We are going to Iowa next weekend so we need to work! :)
Our neighbors are having a get-together on Friday so we will probably mingle that way for a few hours. The guys can drink and whatever in the garage while we enjoy some Pampered Chef. Well, I have to go to a meeting now...Catch ya later
